new records new shows new excitement

shit its been awhile, sorry about that, a lot is going on though,
so lets commence with the updates.

the saddest landscape just got finished recording songs for 2 upcoming splits, and we are fucking stoked beyond belief with how everything turned out, dave at 113 did a great job at making us sound as we should, and we thank him for that,

the first split is with our frineds trophy scars, that bear records is putting out, we are hoping to have this out by halloween, look for preorders on the bear site soon, ill let you know,

the other split will come shortly after, then that will be followed by the new tsl full length.

we also have some new tsl shows coming up, we will be doing a super short tour with a great band from baltimore called pianos become the teeth, we will be starting that in philly on oct 23, we will also be playing in brooklyn on nov 10th with touche amore and the always brilliant the brass, shit will be legendary, if you miss this i worry about your soul.

in merch news, i have finally gotten around to adding some stuff to the store, we have 5 copies of the other limited version of the hbog 6", as well as we finally have copies of the lovelife comp cd that ape must not kill ape put out, the comp has a lot of amazing bands as well as songs from both tsl and hbog, pretty solid.

i am also going to be putting together some cd set/packs, there will only be a few of these (10 or so), each one will be different but contain some cool stuff, look for those in the next day or so, these are mainly to help us raise some money as we have debts, so if anything think of this is a way to donate to help us keep doing what we do.

also though i am still skeptical on the value of such things, aaron and mike have set us up with a facebook and a twitter account, so follow all the excitement, not sure on the site addresses though, they should be linked on our myspace (which i am equally skeptical about), i sure am curmudgeonly sometimes.

well we survived our tour with the brass, thanks to all of you who came out, laura and jess for giving us places to sleep, and the other bands we played with, and especially the brass who we hopefully will be touring again with very soon.

in other news i sent another couple of big batches of the preorder sets out over the past couple days so soon the rest of you will have your sets.

here is a flyer for our allston show next sun, aug 9th, you should come if you can, we will have copies of our new record, we will play some songs, the brass will destroy you, it will be good, as well as the other shows.

also we mailed a whole lot of packages yesterday, all shirts, tsl records, and about half the hbog preorder sets have now been mailed, the rest should go out in a few days, im guessing wed.

preorder sets are finally done!!

so i thought it was time for an update on the hbog preorder deluxe sets, i had hoped to ship them last week but lets just say the amounting of sewing involved was more than i could handle on my end, not to worry though, the wonderful d. brown stepped up and made the covers look even more beautiful than i would have done on my own. so i have been spending my evening packaging them up, a lot of them will go in the mail on sat, the rest early/mid next week, and a couple of you will get yours delivered in person, aren't you lucky??? so thanks for being patient everyone.

other than that we are just getting ready for our short northeast coast tour with the brass next week!! fucking stoked on that, hope to see some of you there.

this wed night, july 29th, at 10pm eastern, i will be a guest dj on whrb (95.3 fm for all you boston kids), the harvard radio station, i will be joined also by rob of bear records, we will be playing records, talking, asking each other questions,making sure we don't swear, not sure what else, it will be good times though, any requests or anything get em in soon.
